Don’t Hang Onto Bitterness

A man was bitten by a mad dog. He went to the Doctor and his worst fears were confirmed; he had rabies. But, the Doctor assured him that with the proper treatment, he would be ok. So, the Doctor excused himself from the examination room.

When the Doctor came back, the patient was frantically writing on a piece of paper. The Doctor said, “Sir, I told you that you will be ok. You don’t need to make out your will.”

The guy said, “Doc, I’m not making out my will; I’m Write by down the names of people I want to bite before you give me that shot.”

Are you bitter with someone? It happens but, we don’t need to stay bitter. Jesus said, “If you are presenting your offering at the altar and remember that someone has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and make reconciliation with your brother.”

Don’t hang on to bitterness. If you have a relationship that’s strained, get it resolved.

Someone has said, “Sometimes an apology is the best last word.”
