The Blood Of Jesus Covers Our Sins

Mistakes.
We make them regularly. And when we do, we feel bad. At times, we could kick ourselves. We may roll that mistake over and over in our minds and repeatedly tell ourselves, “Man, WHY did I do that?”
One of the blessings of the Christian life is we can be forgiven of our sins. Hebrews 10:19-22 says, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.”
Think about that verse… “…we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place… because of the blood of Jesus..” Boldly… we are human… we are flawed… we are sinners… yet the Bible is saying we sinners can BOLDLY enter the Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.
“what can wash my sins, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.”
But the verse also says, “… For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean…”
Folks, this means our sins and consciences are totally forgiven and dealt with through the blood of Jesus. But, someone says, “Oh, but you don’t know what I’ve done… I’ve made some foolish mistakes…” I understand.. I have too… but Jesus blood covers even our most foolish mistakes.
Now, once we are forgiven, we need to move away from that. We should not desire to live like we once did. We are forgiven… We’ve given our lives to Christ. Sin should bother us.
Through the blood of Jesus… our sins are covered… washed away… totally forgiven.      Thank the Lord for the saving power of the blood of Jesus and bring glory and honor to Jesus today.
