Their Is Hope In The Future… When The Wolf Lies Down With The Lamb

Most of us are concerned about America. We see the division in our country. We hear and see racial division. We hear about political disagreements. And, we ask ourselves, is there any hope?
Yes, there is hope… as long as Jesus is on the throne there is hope. The prophet Isaiah speaks of a time of promise and hope for Israel. The nation of Israel had been unfaithful to God and they were punished. But their days of punishment were about to be over.      Isaiah speaks of better days ahead. He says, “The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat hay like a cow.
But the snakes will eat dust. In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
What a beautiful picture of hope! Notice Isaiah says, “the wolf and the lamb will feed together.” You could never imagine a wolf and a lamb eating together. Normally, a wolf would attack the lamb. But Isaiah says, in the days ahead, there will be peace and the “wolf and lamb will eat together.”
I don’t know what you are facing…but if we know the Lord, the Bible promises us better days ahead. Days when the wolf will lied down with the lamb.
The same is true in our nation. I don’t know what the future holds… but Isaiah says if we follow the Lord and obey the Lord, the future will be a time when the wolf will lie down with the lamb.
The same is true of us individually. Maybe you are struggling with an addiction problem. Maybe you are going through personal struggles. Isaiah says if we will follow the Lord, the days ahead will be marked by a time when “the wolf will lie down with the lamb.”
There are better days ahead because God is still on the throne. A day of peace and happiness and security… when the wolf will lie down with the lamb.
