Conflicts Without, Fears Within

Tough times…

We’ve all faced them. Just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean you won’t face them. For some reason, at times we think that being a Christian means we won’t face adversity but, we do. The apostle Paul did.

In Ii Corinthians 7:5 Paul wrote, “For even when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side: conflicts without, fears within.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:5‬

Think about what Paul said; “…conflicts without, fears within…”. I’ve been there and more than likely you have. “Conflicts without and fears within…”.

You may say, “I’ve been there..”

“Conflicts without…”. Are you having a tough time on your job? Maybe some things are going on in your home that concern you. Maybe your neighbors can be challenging…

“Fears within…”. Now think about who wrote this…the great Christian missionary the apostle Paul. Yet even Paul had “fears within.”

Today, if you are dealing with, “conflicts without, fears within,” know that you aren’t the first and you aren’t alone. Notice how God helped Paul…“But God, who comforts the depressed, comforted us by the coming of Titus” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:6‬ ‭).

Just as God helped Paul, He will help with “conflicts without and fears within…”
