Jesus Will Heal You

When Jesus began His ministry, one of the things He did that attracted so many people was healing. In the gospel of Mark, early in the ministry of Jesus, He healed people. The Bible says that after Jesus left the synagogue in Capernaum He went to the home of Simon and Andrew and Simon’s mother-in-law was sick with a high fever. Jesus went to her bedside, took her by the hand, and helped her sit up. The fever left her and she prepared a meal for them.
Then, that evening, as word got out about Jesus healing power, others were brought to Jesus for healing. From all over the area, people came to be healed by Jesus. And that’s what spread the word about Jesus… His healing power.
People still need to be healed today. Some need physical healing while others need emotional or mental healing and others need spiritual healing. Regardless of the type, Jesus heals.
It may not be instantaneous (and then it could be) but, Jesus heals. When we give Jesus our lives and our illness or problems, Jesus heals.
Jesus heals us emotionally. Jesus said, “My yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Jesus heals us mentally. Jesus said “I have come that they might have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).
Jesus heals us spiritually. Jesus said, “For God so loved he world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but would have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
Jesus is still healing. Maybe you have a problem you need to give Jesus. If you will give it to Jesus, He will heal you. Again, it may not be overnight but, the Lord will begin to work in our lives.
Know this; Jesus loves you. Regardless what your past has been like, Jesus loves you and will forgive you. You can be healed!
