Worship God Who Has Always Been And Will Always Be

Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God…” Ok but, have you ever thought, “who created God?” or, “where did God begin?” If so, you aren’t the only one, lots of people have. So, when did God begin? Who did create God?
The answer is, God has always been and no one created God. God is. God has no beginning or end.
But the skeptic will respond, “Wait a minute… everything has a beginning and end.”
I understand your thought process but, God is different from “everything.” God has always been. God will always be. God was before anything else came into being.
The atheist doesn’t believe this because this reasoning supercedes science and science, to some people, is God. But God is greater than science.
As we begin this new year, I encourage you to put your faith in God and follow God. God is greater than anyone or anything that we might give our attention to. God is all powerful. God simply spoke, and the world came into existence. God loves us. If God didn’t love us, He would have never sent His Son into this world.
God cares for us. If He didn’t care for us, He wouldn’t have said that every hair on our head is numbered. This indicates that God cares.
Psalm 1 says, “How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor does he stand in the path of sinners nor does he sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord And in His law he meditates day and night” (Psalms 1:1-12).
This year, may our goal be to DELIGHT in the Word of God and to worship God. God is worthy of our worship. God is all-powerful, all-knowing and omnipresent. God is worthy of our praise.
Don’t debate the origin of God. Don’t debate the existence of God. Instead, place your faith in God and commit to following God.
