The end of the year, the time between Christmas and New Year’s Day is a great time for reflection. As you reflect on 2016, where did your time go? Did you set goals for the year that weren’t accomplished because you wasted some time? I admit that I had some.
So, why didn’t I accomplish some goals? I got side-tracked and wasted some time and the main culprit was TV. It’s easy to sit down and get lost in TV. There is nothing wrong with TV; there is something wrong with spending too much time watching TV. Or, maybe it’s the web. The internet is a powerful tool. It allows people to watch worship services live-streaming. It allows people to be inspired through inspirational or motivational material. But, it can also be a source of time wasted.
Maybe there is another time-waster in your life. Determine in 2017 to monitor your time. Make sure you aren’t investing time in things that are trivial.
