Faith & Works

There are many people who say they believe in Christ. I talk to people on a regular basis who tell me they are believers and I accept that. However, our belief is not influencing our behavior.
Across our nation, there are lots of people who say they are Christians but, they seldom attend worship, they seldom give or read their Bibles yet, we say we believe.
In the book of James, the people were told that some of them have faith and some have good deeds. Then, they were told, “If you don’t have faith, how can you show me your good deeds?” Then James says, “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:18).
What about you? Is your faith dead? If we have a living faith, it will lead us to worship and give and serve and study our Bible. If we have a living faith, it will show in our lives.
So again, do you faith? As the Holy Spirit examines your life, does your life produce evidence that you have a living faith? As James said, “Faith without works is dead.”
