Be More Loving & Less Judging

Is there someone you know…maybe even someone you are close to, who does something that annoys you? Every human being has flaws. None of us are perfect and when you begin to point out flaws, you are judging others. Instead of judging, we need to be patient with one another.
The apostle Paul said, “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love” (Eph 4:2). Notice that Paul said, “Making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love..” In other words, we aceept people, warts and all, because we love them.
In the movie “Wyatt Earp”, legendary lawman Wyatt Earp did not have many friends. He meets Doc Holliday, a gambler and gunfighter. Holliday doesnt have many friends. These two guys, whi didnt have many friends, became friends. They both had flaws but they accepted one another in spite of their flaws.
In one scene, someone asks Holliday why he’s putting his life at risk for Earp?
      Holliday says, “Wyatt’s my friend.”
The other man responds, “Ive got lots of friends.”
       Holliday responds, “I don’t.”
Today, be more loving and accepting of others. Look over flaws and be a friend to someone.
