God Walks With Us THROUGH The Fire And Deep Water

Adversity and trials are part of life. Someone has said that “God didn’t route David around the valley of the shadow of death but instead, he walked with him through it.”
But, when we face adversity God promises to be with us. In Isaiah 43:2 God said to Israel, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow overthrow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.”
Notice that God didn’t say that we would not go through fire or deep waters. We will. But, God promises to walk us through it. Today, maybe you are going through some fire. Maybe you are going through some deep water. God will walk with you.
Ok, you may ask, “How does He do that?” One way is through filling our minds with God’s word. And, when adversity comes, Scripture comes to our mind. Another way is from the presence of a Christian friend.
God has promised to walk with us THROUGH the tough stuff. He will not forsake us.
