We all have them and carry them. And burdens are heavy. That’s why we need help to carry our burdens.
Paul said, “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.”
As Christians, we are brothers and sisters in Christ. As brothers and sisters, we help each other. We share one another’s burdens.
Some are carrying the burden of a bad marriage. Some, the burden of financial problems or drug abuse. For some, it’s the burden of a mistake in the past.
You will likely meet someone today who is carrying s burden. Take time and help them with it
But notice what else Paul says;
“If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.” I LOVE that verse. At times, we can get to big for our britches. Most of us heve had someone help us with our burdens. We should help others.
There is an old gospel song that goes;
“Is your burden heavy as you bear it all alone?
Does the road you travel Harbor dangers yet unknown?
Are you growing weary in the struggle of it all?
Jesus will help you when on His name you call.”
Take your burdens to the Lord AND, help others bear their burden.
