“All lives matter.”
That phrase has grown out of the strife the nation has experienced the last couple of years. But, that phrase really isn’t new. It goes back to the beginning of time.
When God sent His Son to this earth to die for our sins, He said that “all lives matter.” Jesus died for everyone.
In Galations 3:28, the apostle Paul said, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
There are no divisions in God’s eyes. God loves us all. There are no slaves or free, no Jews or Gentiles, no male or female; God loves us all.
I would add, there are no Republicans or Democrats, no Baptists or Catholics, God loves us all. We see lots of divisions today among people but, man has done that. God loves us all…regardless of color..creed…socioeconomic status.
We need to treat others the way God would. We need to love one another and care for one another.
Years ago, when AIDS was at it’s peak, a group of musicians recorded a song to raise money to fight AIDS. It was entitled, “We are the world.”
The lyrics went in part, like this;
“We are the world, we are the children.
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making.
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me.”
We are the world and God loves us all.
