We Reap What We Sow

You’re likely familiar with the expression, “what goes around comes around.” That statement is basically another way of saying, “you reap what you sow.”
I believe strongly in that principle. The Bible says “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
In Galatians 6:7, the apostle Paul said “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.” Galatians‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭NASB‬‬
If we lived every day by the Golden rule lots of our problems would be eliminated. We wouldn’t gossip. We wouldn’t steal. We would return more phone calls. We would help others more. And I could go on and on…
Zig Ziglar once said, “You can have everything in life you want, if you just help enough other people get what they want.” Zig was saying we should live by the Golden rule.
So, be careful in how you treat others. As Paul said, “whatsoever a man sows that will he also reap.”
Years ago there was a prominent judge in Dallas Texas. The judge passed away and flowers were sent to his funeral from hundreds of people. A colleague of the judge stood watching a funeral home attendant load those flowers onto a truck to be transported to the cemetery.
As the man loaded the flowers, the judge commented, “Judge so-and-so sure has lots of flowers doesn’t he?”
The funeral home employee said, “Yes sir; but he’s been sowing the seeds for these flowers a long time.”
We are sowing seeds as well. Remember, we reap what we sow.
