Text message evangelism

Saturday I had an interesting experience.
I was text messaging some people inviting them to attend The Retreat on Sunday.  I sent to a text to a person and shortly got a reply that read "I believe you have the wrong number."
I thought the number was correct but... I sent a reply and said "Sorry, I was inviting the person to church.
I got a reply and the person said "Lol... Thanks but I'm not a churchgoing man."
Well, that response was like saying "sic em" to a dog for me.  So, I replied "Well, I am planting a church that is for people who don't go to church."
A few seconds later I got a reply, "Sorry but I'm agnostic."
I waited a little then responded "Last time I will bother you but if you ever want to talk message me.."
      The exchange ended then.
I thought about that... what are the odds that I would send a text and it goes to  wrong number and the number belongs to a person who is agnostic?  Probably not very high.
I'm planting a church because I feel convicted to do some different things to reach people for Christ.  I didn't know that would include texting.
There are all kinds of way to reach people for Christ.  I don't know if I will ever hear from my friend again but.. hopefully I sowed a seed.  Sow some seed this week.  Tell someone about Jesus love.
