We need to meet in the middle

        I love music and particularly, country music.  I got satellite radio in my car a couple of months ago and since then, most of the time, I'm listening to Prime country.  I especially like upbeat stuff.
         For example... "Party Crowd" by David Lee Murphy.
        "Write this down," by George Strait.
        "Rock my baby" by Shenandoah.
Recently I was listening to another song by "Shenandoah."  The title is "Meet in the middle."  I like it because it's upbeat.  But, the lyrics have a good message on relationships.
         The chorus goes;
         "I'd start walking your way and you'd start walking mine
         We meet in the middle 'neath that old Georgia pine.
         We gain a lot of ground 'cause we'd both give a little
         Ain't no  road too long when we meet in the middle."
         Think about that; "... we gain a lot of ground 'cause we'd both give a little.."  Is there someone that you have a strained relationship with?  Maybe you need to give a little ground.
         There is a story about a Pastor who heard that a lady in the church was upset about something.  So, he went to see her.  He knocked on the door and waited for her to come to the door.  But no one came.
He knocked again but no one came.  He just felt like someone was home but the lady was avoiding him.  About that time, a light bulb comes on.  He drops to a knee to look through the keyhole in the door and.. what does he see?  He sees an eye staring back at him from the other side!
About that that time, the lady opens the door, the Pastor goes in and they resolve their differences.  When I heard the story, the speaker said "When we get on our knees together, we are more likely to see eye to eye."
He's right.  Is there someone you need to meet in the middle?
