"I'm worried about ME sending ME to hell."

Yesterday (12-6-2010) I was sitting with a family during a surgery.  Everyone was enjoying conversation and joking with one another.  At some point, we began to discuss a subject that often brings disagreement among Christians.
After a few minutes discussing that subject, a lady speaks up and says "I'm  not worried about that (the subject we were discussing) sending me to hell, I'm just worried about ME sending Me  to hell."   Now let me explain a little.
I had never met this lady before yesterday but, in sitting with her just a few minutes, I learned that .she was somewhat  of a free spirit.   For example; she would say the things other people might think but wouldn't say.  I could tell she  was probably the type who would "live on  the edge" a little.
Honestly, I enjoyed talking  with her.  She was funny and honest about feelings which is a good thing.  .
But back to the discussion.  When she said "I'm worried about me sending  me to  hell" what she meant  was "I know I'm a sinner. I say things  I shouldn't say.  I do things I shouldn't do.  I  think  things I shouldn't  think.'  She was worried about the sin in her life sending her to hell.
Well, first, if we have asked Christ into our hearts, our sins are forgiven.  It doesn't matter what you have done, your sins are  forgiven.
Second, I can  identify with the lady;... I struggle with my tongue.. my thoughts and  at times, my attitude  Does it bother me?  Sure!  I have a tendency to be hard on myself  when I make a mistake and I make lots of them.  But, the fact is, we are all human and as long as we live in this world, we are going to face temptation we are going to occasionally get frustrated.  In short, we are going  to sin.
We are all human and  we all have flaws.  And, I guess I'm in the same boat as the lady I mentioned earlier;  I know me and sometimes "me" isn't pretty.  But "me" doesn't have to be pretty.  Jesus death on the cross allows our sins to be forgiven.  I am very thankful for that.
