Things I'm thankful for
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to list some things I’m thankful for;
1) Jesus who loved me enough to die for my sins.
2) My wife - who loves me and is very patient with me.
3) That the ball bounced up perfectly for Josh Jasper to catch it and get a first down on LSU’s fake fg at Fla.
4) My kids; Robert and Will are fine young men and I’m proud of them both. Sarah is a beautiful young lady and I’m not looking forward to her moving out of the house.
5) Friends - some of you read this blog.. I am thankful for friends online, friends in the gym, friends in the church and other places I may have overlooked.
6) That Tennessee had 12 men on the field on the last play of their game against LSU.
7) My Parents... Daddy’s health is failing but I am thankful I’ve had 49 years with Mom & Dad.
8) FBC Dallas.. for laughing with me, crying with me and understanding as I have dealt with Daddy’s declining health.
9) Jesus... who forgives me when I sin and forgives me again when I sin again and keeps forgiving me cause I sin a lot.
10) My family and my roots in East Fork, La.
